About the event
Join us in Geneva for an inspiring evening exploring how different types of communities (from employee resource groups, to enterprise networks, and university alumni networks) shape careers, foster belonging, and drive meaningful impact.
This panel brings together three complementary perspectives:
• Francesca Di Nora, Director Buyer Experience & Growth at eBay, representing corporate communities and Employee Resource Groups, including a spotlight on Women at eBay.
• Laetitia Fatio, Director at Alumni HEC Lausanne, sharing insights into the power of university alumni networks and lifelong professional connections.
• Elsa Floret, Communication Director at the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, representing the perspective of enterprise and business networks that connect leaders and organizations across industries.
Together, we will explore how communities create opportunity, visibility, and long-term career support. The discussion will also address an important dynamic: while men often build and leverage strategic alliances naturally throughout their careers, women can intentionally cultivate equally strong, supportive circles to accelerate their professional journeys.
Through a focused panel discussion, audience Q&A, and networking apéro, participants will gain practical insights into what makes communities thrive and how to build powerful alliances that last. We will also reflect on the role of volunteer-driven initiatives such as Women in Digital Switzerland in strengthening collaboration beyond organizational boundaries.
We are truly looking forward to bringing these perspectives together for a rich and complementary conversation.
