Midday AI-Lab Series Part II: From Signal to Information

In this interactive WDS autumn workshop you will build and test a repeatable, AI-assisted research routine tailored to the developments that matter most to your business, project, or role.

Using current public information, you will discover together with Marianthi Polydorou, Basel-based senior digital transformation professional with a current focus on practical AI adoption and delivery, how AI can help surface recent changes, separate source-backed facts from interpretation and spot key signals for deeper investigation, all while keeping judgment and decisions human-led.

What you will learn:

1) How to set up a repeatable, AI-assisted research routine for relevant industry, market or professional developments

2) How to differentiate source-backed facts from interpretation, when working with AI

3) How to use AI to focus attention on signals that may merit further human investigation.

You will leave with a reusable setup that you can continue adapting to your own professional priorities.

Prerequisites: Bring your laptop and a ChatGPT account. No coding experience required. Preparation: Before attending, identify a professional area, business, or project where you would like to keep track of relevant developments (e.g., shifts in technology, markets, regulation or the competitive environment). Note: We will use publicly available information only, please do not bring confidential or sensitive company data. Places are limited, and registration is required through WDS Basel. The AI labs complement each other but can be attended independently.

Facilitator: Marianthi Polydorou is a Basel-based senior digital transformation professional with a current focus on practical AI adoption and delivery. She brings more than 15 years of experience in digital transformation, B2B product management and cross-functional delivery across Switzerland and international markets, including roles at Sunrise and Vodafone. Her recent applied work spans AI use-case identification and prioritisation, GenAI prototyping and AI enablement. Her approach combines business-led thinking, hands-on experimentation and a strong background in turning strategy into structured delivery.
