WDS cybersecurity meetup

Trust and cybersecurity

We have two amazing guest speakers, who will each have the floor for around 20 minutes, followed by a moderated Q&A session.

“Trust and Intersectionality between Identity, Privacy and IoT.” by Monique J. Morrow

Monica’s core theme will be around an ever-connected world within the context of Covid-19 top of mind issues.

“The issues with strong customer authentication and why it’s in our interest to build a strong cybersecurity ecosystem” by Sandra Tobler

Sandra will talk about trends in end user authentication and why there does not have to be a constant trade-off between security and usability. She will also shed some light on common security myths and misconceptions around strong customer authentication. Her company, Futurae Technologies is a Swiss Cybersecurity company actively involved in fostering a Swiss independent and strong IT security ecosystem that gains importance not only in times of Covid-19. She will also talk about why it is important to create local product innovation companies in IT security and how success factors are key to a successful collaboration.

The virtual meetup will conclude with a short networking session.
