Co-founder of Whitespace (www.whitespace.ch), a Geneva-based UX agency, Julia has 20 years of experience in web and mobile design, usability and project management in Silicon Valley and Europe. She is currently co-chairing the Women in Digital Geneva meet-up group.
Passionate about making things as simple as possible and creating intuitive and efficient experiences for the end users, she favors a pragmatic UX approach. Design thinking, Rapid prototyping, Agile testing are some of the methods used to create products and tools that people actually want and need.
Current and recent clients include the United Nations Office in Geneva, SITA, Ferring, Nestlé, the International Red Cross, Terre des Hommes, UNISDR (UN Disaster Risk Reduction) and the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).
Originally from Munich, Julia grew up in Geneva, studied and worked in Paris, London and San Francisco, and is now calling Geneva her home. She holds a masters degree from LMU Munich and LSE in London.
